The details are still emerging about an incredible rescue in Marcellus, Michigan. Patricia Drauch had gone into her garage to get a shovel, and after a few minutes, she realized that her 14-month-old son, Stanley, was no longer with her. She went looking for him and, in every parent’s nightmare, found him in the pool, face up and blue. Video: Rainy Day Dog Fun!

For us humans, a rainy day can be a real drag, keeping us indoors. But dogs know how to enjoy themselves in all kinds of weather, and Cale is clearly having a blast in this wonderful video (below). Just look at that “Wanna play?” face at the beginning of the video; who could resist taking that dog out into the elements? Springing down the path, playing in puddles, and cuddling with his owners makes for a wet, wonderful day. That leap at 1:27 is certainly impressive, as well. It’s raining here in Vermont today.
