The Orvis Company, which commits 5% of pre-tax profits to protecting nature, is proud to join millions of people and organizations around the world in celebrating the fifth-annual Earth Hour. We encourage you to share your Earth Hour plans with us.
All Orvis stores and offices will be participating in some way:
•Our headquarters, retail stores, and rod shop in Vermont will go dark for the entire night of the 23rd.
•Other retail stores will close early, so they will be ready to turn off the lights at 8:30 p.m.
•Agents will staff our Orvis Service Center, while the majority of the facility participates in Earth Hour.
•Our Facebook profiles will “go dark” as a symbol of our participation.
