Take Action to Protect Bristol Bay, and Register to Win a Trip to Alaska!

What better way to appreciate the wonder of Alaska than with a trip for two to Crystal Creek Lodge—2011 Orvis Fly-Fishing Lodge of the Year—in the heart of Bristol Bay? All you have to do to enter the contest is take action to let the EPA know that you stand with millions of others against the proposed Pebble Mine. The video above explains why stopping this project is so vital.

By taking action, you will have the chance to win a four-day and four-night package for two at this world-class Alaska Lodge, which includes travel from Anchorage. To get a sense of how great this trip could be, check out the Reviews page for Crystal Creek Lodge on orvis.com: a whopping 37 of 39 reviews gave 5-star ratings (the other two were 4 stars).

Why take this action now? The EPA needs to hear from you that this area deserves protection from the proposed Pebble Mine. It takes about a minute, and by taking action and then telling just one friend, you are registered to win the trip. Yes, it’s that easy. Yes, it’s that important. But you MUST make your voice heard by May 31.

  1. I am very disappointed that Orvis is aligning itself to an absolute position on a project in development. If you worked with the stakeholders on enhancing the fishery as a condition of development all fishermen would benefit. I can’t stand the hypocrisy of people willing enjoy the things mining gives them but single other ones out because of what-ifs. I will be boycotting Orvis as a result.
