New Technology Allows You to Keep Track of Your Dog When You’re Not Home

Have you ever wondered if your dog is doing okay at home during the day while you’re at work or running errands? There’s now a way that you can gain peace of mind in such circumstances. Japanese electronics giant Fujitsu has launched a new pet-care product called “Wandant,” which will allow dog owners to track their pet’s behavior remotely. According to an article in The Wall Street Journal, Wandant “will allow owners to count their dog’s every step, stress levels and surrounding temperature even when they are apart.” The information is collected automatically and sent to “the Cloud,” where owners can check in via the Internet.

The system is available only in Japan right now and it costs about $100. What do you think?
