It was decision day for Fairfield County Commissioners. County residents hoped they would vote on the means of which animals at the Fairfield County Dog Shelter are euthanized. But no vote came.
Fairfield County is one of 11 remaining counties in Ohio that still use a gas chamber to euthanize dogs.
