The terrible storms that ripped through the South and Midwest on Friday and Saturday left a path of death and destruction that was historic in scope. One feel-good story to come out of the devastation was Greg Cook being reunited with his dog, Coco, after a Category 5 tornado destroyed Cook’s home in Limestone County, in northern Alabama. According to WAFF.com:

Nobody was home when a tornado came through the Cook home on McCulley Mill Street in East Limestone. Cook rushed home after the storm and dug through debris to find Coco. He crawled through a window and found Coco soaking wet and shaking in a hallway.

“It was just such a relief, I was happy to see him. I love my dog, he’s my best friend and I was just so happy to see him,” said Cook.
