Rescued Dogs Dying from Hunger

Dogs rescued in Asia by the truckload have been dying
due to malnutrition and disease

What started out as a new lease-on-life for nearly 2000 dogs saved from restaurant tables in  Asia has turned tragic as over a thousand of the rescued animals have died of starvation and illness due to poor management

From AsiaOne:

“…since most of the dogs were raised on leftover rice, they were not familiar with dog biscuits, and many died from malnutrition. She added that the donation fund management’s rule of having the committee meet just once a week to approve all expenditure slowed down the purchase of food and medication.”
