The above photo of John Unger and his dog, Schoep, touched hearts around the world when it was first published in early August. (We posted about it here and here.) One of the results of that impact is that donations have flooded in to help Unger pay for expensive laser therapy that alleviates Schoep’s symptoms of arthritis, as well as for dietary supplements. The results, according to Unger, are that he sees the return of a younger version of his best friend.
