A horse-racing track in Kentucky has discovered a great way to draw a new audience to the facility: high-fun, low-stakes wiener-dog racing. The little Dachshunds don’t have to run all the way around the track, of course, but instead sprint through a 50-yard dash. As the official rules make clear, “The only thing serious about this race is the FUN!” The best part is that all proceeds from the betting go to local animal charities.
