Back in December, Eldad Hagar and Hope for Paws rescued a sweet little dog who lived in a tiny hole underneath an elementary school in Watts. The dog, whom they called Kennedy, had a broken leg and a horrifying neck wound that required three hours of surgery. She would have surely died from her injuries had she not been rescued. Like all of Eldad’s videos, this one is both heartbreaking and uplifting, especially when you see the dog lying at last on a clean bed.
But Kennedy’s story doesn’t end there. Yesterday, the dog’s new owner posted a video update (below). Kennedy’s new name is Rosie, and as you’ll see, she is happy, healthy, and loved. She even has a sister to play with!
