Mountain climbers ascending the highest peak in Poland, Rysy, discovered a brown-eyed dog high up on the peak. How he got there is a mystery, though one animal-rights activist believes that someone must have brought the dog there to die, which is unfathomable. Rather than leave the dog there to perish, the climbers spent ten hours using ropes and chains to get the dog back to safety. They named the pooch Rysa, after the mountain, and she awaits adoption.
