Dog Art: “Flash” by Bob White

“Flash” – watercolor on archival paper
By Bob White

Editor’s note: I’ve been friends with Bob White since we first met at a benefit fly-fishing event for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in 2007, but I’ve been a fan of his artwork for much longer than that. We have posted some of his gorgeous dog paintings before, and he has graciously allowed us to regularly post his work. Here’s the first of what should be many glorious images of dogs from Bob’s brushes, along with his description:

It’s a long winter for our four-legged friends, perhaps even longer for them, than us. This is exemplified by by the exuberance in which they embrace the first patches of snow-free yard in the spring!

  1. This is very happy news. I have been following Bob White’s sporting art and writings for over 15 years. Bob is the real deal. He doesn’t just talk about it, he lives it.
