Here’s a wonderful story of a man who refused to give up on his dog, when he was given a hopeless prognosis. Booster, an 8-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever was diagnosed with inoperable cancer, but his owner, Davis Hawn, made a promise to do everything in his power to save the dog’s life:
His search led him to doctors in Florida who removed Booster’s tumor and gave him chemo. An online search then led him to Dr. Elizabeth Pluhar from the University of Minnesota’s canine brain tumor clinical program.
The wonderful video report above shows Booster finally meeting Dr, Pluhar. It’s a beautiful thing.
