Emma’s Journey from Death Row to the Westminster Dog Show

News that the Westminster Kennel Club would welcome mixed breed dogs to their annual extravaganza for the first time was the cause for much celebration, but for one dog, in particular, her appearance at the country’s premier dog show was the end of an incredible journey. In 2010, Emma was found in an abandoned hotel in South Carolina and brought to a high-kill shelter where dogs have just 48 hours to find a new home. Luckily, someone rescued her just in time. . .
