Enter to Win a $500 Orvis Gift Card!

Spring has sprung here in Vermont. . .finally! We’re celebrating by giving away a $500 Orvis gift card to one random reader of the Orvis Dogs blog.

Here’s how the contest works: All you have to do is use the widget below to tell us what your favorite dog breed is, and you’ll be entered in the random drawing. One lucky winner will receive a $500 Gift Card that can be used for any Orvis products–from dog beds, to women’s and men’s apparel, to gift and home items.

You can double your chances of winning by subscribing to the Orvis Mailing list, too, using the same widget.

The contest runs through June 3, and one winner will be chosen at random to receive a $500 gift card!

  1. Jack Russell’s…I went running one day in a new development under construction and was followed by one with a collar but no ID. His ribs were showing and he was dirty as heck…brought him home and put up his photo on the local sites and nobody claimed him which was fine by me because after only a couple of days I fell for him. He’s been my best friend and one of the most loyal and smart dogs I’ve ever had in my family.

  2. no other dog beds compare to Orvis beds….especially for my senior dogs…sadly they are gone but I have a new lab and he is about to get a brand new bed all his own….

  3. Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog. I had never heard of them 7 years ago. A friend who works with Catahoula Rescue-Ontario (CRO) had rescued 2 of them and told us all about them. We ended up rescuing 2 Catahoula mixes from CRO and I have been smitten by them ever since. They’re extremely smart and more work than your average pooch but what they give back is endless. I will never have anything else!

  4. Mixed breed, we have a rescue puppy. He is a mix of Lhasa apso, Poodle and Shitzu. He is the cutest and best doggy in the world!

  5. My favorite breed is a relative newcomer – Czechoslovakian Wolfdog. They’re extremely smart and friendly dogs – there’s no other animal quite like them!

  6. I really don’t have a favorite.i tend to love big breed dogs.i have a yellow lab.my son has a black king shepard .big dogs to me tend to be sweeties.they really don’t know how big they are.such gentle giants.

  7. I’d rather be involved with dogs than people most of the time….and you are one of the sources!!

  8. Our ten year old labradoodle, Sadie, always barks when someone comes to the house but runs back to her bed and grabs one of her toys in her mouth and continues to bark! Too cute!

  9. Favorite breed? You want me to pick JUST ONE? O.K., mutts are great. I like a lot of medium to large dogs, but hey the smaller dogs can be great too.
