Harry was our Dog of the Day back in 2011.Photo by Kathleen, Richmond
Several folks have asked how they can submit a photo for our “Orvis Dog of the Day.” It’s easy, and there are two ways you can do it:
Method #1:
1. Upload your photo to a hosting sevice such as flickr, Picasa, or even Facebook.
2. Email a link to the photo to dogpictures@orvis.com
3. Include your dog’s name and breed, your first name and hometown, and a caption for the photo.
Method #2:
1. Make sure your photo is not larger than 1M. (Resize it if it is.)
2. Email the photo directly to dogpictures@orvis.com
3. Include your dog’s name and breed, your first name and hometown, and a caption for the photo.
Photo Requirements:
1. Photo must be at least 650 pixels wide or tall.
2. Photo must be well-lit and in focus.
By submitting a photo you give us permission to upload it to our flickr page and post it on OrvisNews.com. We won’t use it for anything else. Not all photos will be published; we’ll choose only the best.
So, send away! We look forward to seeing what you’ve got.
Just in the manufacturing field there are 500,000 jobs that aren’t
being filled because employers say they can’t find qualified
workers. Don’t just hire the first plumber you find because time and research are needed
to ensure your problem gets fixed right the first time
and that you don’t get ripped off. You must also check
that they have proper insurance so that you are sure your property
and that of your neeighbors is safe just in case anything goes
wrong.
I’m so happy to hear this coming from another individual. I know longer feal alone in life’s realism.
