Here’s a wonderful story of love and devotion between dogs. When two dogsTillie and Phoebewent missing on Washington’s Vashon Island, volunteers searched high and low, to no avail. But then they got a hot tip, one that sounded meaningful:
VIPP volunteers had been helping search for the dogs and on Monday they got a call from someone reporting that for a few days when they were out on their property, a “reddish” dog had been coming up to them and then promptly headed back into a ravine.
When rescuers went to check out the tip, they discovered why the dog kept returning to the ravine. There was a very good reason. . .
