Last Saturday, Orvis held its third annual Down the Hatch Fishing Festival in Missoula, Montana. The event—part of the Orvis Guide Rendezvous—featured live music, a chance to try out some new fly rods, many booths from vendors and conservation organizations, and more. Of course, any time you get a bunch of outdoorspeople together, dogs abound. Here are a just a few of the beautiful animals in attendance, including an old friend who moved away to Wyoming (above) and a Toy Australian Shepherd, a breed I’d never seen before.
The Orvis Dallas store needs to do its own Down the Hatch Festival. It would be very popular in Dallas.
