Video: Veteran and His Beloved Service Dog are Reunited


Here’s a beautiful story that’s perfect for Veterans’ Day. When Adam Morton was moving to Michigan, his beloved service dog, Quincy, ran away, and Morton feared he’d never see the dog again. Having served two tours in Iraq, Morton relied on Quincy to lessen the effects of post traumatic stress disorder.

Luckily, Quincy was found by an animal control officer in Iowa, who discovered through a microchip that Quincy is a service dog. He contacted Morton who was elated. But the question was how they could transport the dog 600 miles.
