An interesting article on dogster today addresses an age-old question: Why the heck do dogs chew on grass? Do they need it for some dietary reason? Does it signify some health problem? Do they simply like it? The answer is an elusive one, and there are several competing theories.
The other important question, of course, is whether or not grass eating can be harmful to a dog. We do know that many plants can cause illness or even death, so thinking about limiting grass intake might be beneficial.

Mine love to eat grass……but never ‘throw’ it back up. They seem to just enjoy it as a dietary supplement.
