Stray Dog Becomes Big Hit in Milwaukee Brewers’ Camp

When a stray dog, who looked to be in rough shape, wandered into the Milwaukee Brewers’ spring-training complex in Arizona last week, no one got upset. Instead, team employees took the little guy to the vet to get fixed up.

Now, “Hank”—named after slugger Hank Aaron—is an unofficial mascot who is getting a lot of attention:

”Yeah, he’s making a pretty big impact, which I’ve got to say is pretty cool,” pitcher Yovani Gallardo said. ”It’s getting a lot of attention, for sure. I think he likes it, too.”

We know from the stories coming out of Sochi that many athletes are dog lovers, and here’s another great example. In fact, there’s some disagreement about who should actually get to keep Hank. . .
