Middle Island, on the southern coast of Australia, is home to a colony of little penguins, the world’s smallest species of these flightless birds, which stand just about a foot tall. When foxes discovered the colony, they nearly wiped out the tiny penguins, until a farmer came up with a great idea: why not use dogs to protect the birds? The result is a heartwarming story that will soon be a major motion picture.
Can you guess the breed of these dogs?
Great Pyrenees?
Maremma!
Bingo!
