Tragedy at Arizona Dog-Boarding Business Raises Many Questions, and Families Demand Answers

A horrifying scene greeted Sheriff’s deputies who arrived at Green Acres Dog Boarding Facility in Gilbert, Arizona, on Saturday. Some 17 dogs, dead or dying, were found piled in a shed. At first, dog owners were told that their pets had run away, but that turned out to be a lie. Since then, the story has changed several times, and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. Right now, it’s difficult to piece together exactly what happened, and the families of the victims are demanding that someone get to the bottom of this and guilty parties are punished.
