Here’s yet another case of a person and a dog being thrown out of a business in direct contradiction of the law. Unfortunately, this report does skirt the question of the dog’s certification, but it is clear that Brown suffers from PTSD. He says that the dog, Truman, is in training to be a service dog. What do you think?
I’m not sure how much his dog being in “training” makes, but I do think if people would stop pushing the boundaries of where to take pets that those who need them would experience fewer frustrations.
If a business clearly has a policy of pets being okay then no worries, but I don’t think restaurants or grocery stores can. If you need a service animal, great bring him on in. If not leave your pet home.
