A sweet, five-year-old Shih-Tzu named Sugar owes her life to the heroic act of a passing Good Samaritan, who earlier this week chased down a coyote that had snatched the little dog. The community of Leisure World in Seal Beach, California, has been plagued by coyote attacks in recent months, with at least one dog snatched from inside his own home. But when Sugar was snatched, a man identified only as “Joey” saw the event and leaped into action. He chased the coyote, which had Sugar in its mouth, causing the wild animal to drop his victim. I wish they’d given the hero of the story a last name, at least!
