When I first came across this video, I thought, “Oh, man. Ten minutes? That’s too long for this kind of thing.”
But then I started watching it and was immediately captured by Sweetie’s incredible story of redemption. This is a beautifully made video that will leave you feeling uplifted, even if a little sad, too. Here’s the story:
Sweetie, a former street dog from Watts, was the happiest, most loving, silly girl; she was respectful and got along great with everyone. Shortly after joining ACPB, Sweetie was diagnosed with congenital renal dysplasia. Sweetie’s foster family immediately decided to adopt her and made her an official member of their family. She lived out her life in her fabulous forever home with two doggy siblings and one kitty brother.
