Here’s a wonderful video that shows how rewarding adopting a dog from a shelter can be. When Molly was turned over to Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue, she was obese and suffering from cancer. But with the help of a loving home and donations from organizations and veterinarians, she is now healthy and happy. Even more remarkable, she has been trained as a therapy dog and now visits hospitals, memory care facilities, hospices, children’s reading programs, and she even works with vets.
