A young Florida boy named Zach who suffers from autism, social anxiety disorder, and seizures was reunited with his beloved service dog after an eight-month separation. Delilah escaped from the family apartment back in August, whereupon she ended up at a Tampa shelter. While the Carlisle family continued to look for the dog, she was, in fact, adopted to someone else. And then, by chance, Zach’s mom saw a photo on the Internet that led her to Delilah. Although her new family had fallen in love with her, they decided that Zach needed her more. . . .
