A veteran from Colorado who tried to get a bite to eat in a Chicago restaurant on Saturday was told to leave because of his service dog, a Black Labrador named Arthur Barker Black. To its credit, the restaurant apologized and made donations to organizations related to service dogs and veterans. The quick resolution and the restaurant’s willingness to take responsibility are good signs, but how long will it be before we have no more of these stories to post?
