A Dallas police officer went above and beyond the call of duty last week, when he helped to save a dog who was asphyxiating in the back of his owner’s car. This occurred after a 9-1-1 operator told the woman the police could not help her because the victim was a dog. Kusos to Officer Albert Sanchez for his compassion and fast action, which may have saved Scrappy’s life!
