Video: A Second Dog-Friendly, Pro-Adoption Hotel Opens in South Carolina

Last year, we posted about a North Carolina hotel where guests can adopt one of the “lobby dogs” that greet everyone who comes through the door. Aloft has now opened a second dog-friendly hotel in Greenville, South Carolina. On Tuesday, Aloft Greenville Downtown celebrated the launch of its foster-dog program with local partner Let’em Live Upstate. Through the new program, Aloft will work with Let’em Live Upstate to foster dogs in need of a forever home, housing one dog at a time who can be adopted by hotel guests and visitors:

“We are humbled to work with Let’em Live Upstate to launch such a unique program in the Greenville market,” said Jonathan Brashier, general manager of Aloft Greenville Downtown. “The program allows us to make a difference by helping more dogs find their forever homes, while advocating for the compassionate treatment of animals in our community. Our guests and visitors will be able to enjoy the company of each dog that lives in the hotel, and many of them will return home with a new best friend.”
