A dog owner in Plano, Texas, found a terrible scene when he went to investigate a noise outside his front door. There, on the stoop, was his beloved dog in the jaws of a large coyote. Milton Jackson ran to Sky’s aid, kicking the coyote until it let go, and then he rushed the dog to the vet, where she required many stitches to repait ugly wounds on her side and stomach. Coyotes making their way into residential areas is an ongoing problem around the country, and dog owners must be extra vigilant. Thank goodness Jackson acted so quickly and decisively!
