Here’s a very cool (albeit lo-res) video of a dog rescuing another, as she was about to be swept down a rapid in a river that was flowing very swiftly. The two dogs were apparently accustomed to swimming in the river, but sluice gates had opened upstream, increasing the volume of water dramatically. It’s amazing to see how the male dog positions himself downstream from the female and guides her across the current to safety. Good boy!
