When 7-year-old Molly DeLuca came upon a rattlesnake in her backyard in Tamps, Florida, on Wednesday afternoon, it was a moment of extreme danger. But Molly’s best friend, Haus, leaped into action, getting between the girl and the snake. But his brave and loyal act came at a cost, as he received three bites from the snake. He’s now receiving treatment in a veterinary hospital, but he’s not out of the woods yet. This young German Shepherd is the very definition of a hero dog.
