Here’s a beautiful, heartfelt trailer for the film version of W. Bruce Cameron’s 2010 book, A Dog’s Purpose. Told from a dog’s perspective (though the narration of actor Josh Gad), it’s a story of a dog who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he teaches to laugh and love. If the trailer is any indication, you’ll need to bring your own box of tissues. The film will be in thaters in January.

Love it! I have two blacks, one Brittany and a English Setter and they are all members of the family and protectors of the realm (farm) always there to show affection and love regardless of the time or day. Orvis, you are the best. Tom in Buford
8 days ago we had to said goodbye to our 11 1/2 year old puggle I will cry though the whole movie but I’ll still see it.
Robin, so sorry for your horrendous loss. I know you are in great pain now, but eventually that horrible pain turns into sweet memories. I have rescued quite a few cats so I have been through this a few times and it never gets easier.
