Video: The Dramatic Rescue of Roadie, an Abandoned Pit Bull

Eldad Hagar, of Hope for Paws, is at it again, with a dramatic rescue of a pit bull who had been living in a roadside field in the town of Hemet, southeast of L.A. Many attempts to capture the female dog had failed over the previous six months, and the community rallied around her. Eldad was called in, and with the help of fifty volunteers and veterinarian Dr. Scott Amsel, he set out to bring Roadie in. The rescue starts with a dramatic confrontation we haven’t seen before, as Eldad has to take on a marauding pack of coyotes. This is gripping stuff.
