Video: Firefighters Rescue Dog from a Frigid Marsh


A dog from a Minnesota rescue got himself in quick a pickle yesterday, when he got loose and made a run for a muddy marsh on the edge of a lake and got stuck. Shannon Bixby-Pankretz, of Secondhand Hounds Animal Rescue in Eden Prairie, explained that Mister hadn’t been in the shelter long and wasn’t good at coming when called. And when one of the shelter volunteers tried to get out to where Mister was stuck, deep mud stopped her in her tracks. That’s when the fire department was called. . .
