Here’s a news report from NBC Los Angeles about a brave and compassionate rescue in the aftermath of a house fire in LA early this morning. As you can see, two firefighters dedicated all their attention on the pup, who couldn’t breathe on his own initially. With their care, however, he was soon back up and walking. There’s no law that requires these responders to care for non-humans, but they do it anyway. We should always take the time to laud them for it.
