When a two-year-old Mastuff was struck by a car in Redlands, California, thousands of cars drove by her, but not Cindy Grande’s, who knew that something had to be done. So she immediately dialed her mom:
“She calls me a little before 10 in the morning and says, ‘Mom, there is a dog in street. She’s bleeding. I can’t leave her. Can you come do something?'” Grande said.
While Grande searched the Web for a nearby veterinary hospital, two other cars stopped to help Cindy care for the poor girl. Now the trio is doing everything they can to pay for Lucky’s rehabilitation. Thank goodness for people who follow their hearts!
