Those of us in northern climes can’t imagine a “dog in hot car” story this time of year, but it was 85 degrees in Largo, Florida, on Sunday, when a thoughtless dog owner left his pooch locked inside his truck. Jonathan Parris immediately recognized the danger and called the police, but when they said it would be 45 minutes before they could get to the Target parking lot, Parris decided that he had to act. . .
