A brave dog is fighting for her life at an Ohio veterinary center after she tried valiantly to save her owner: “First responders on the scene found Carmen, a 9-year-old boxer, on top of Ledford, trying to shelter his face from the heat, smoke and flame, according to CNN affiliate WCPO.” Unfortunately, Ben Ledford passed away, but firefighters were able to resuscitate Carmen and get her critical care. Now she’s in a new battle, trying to recover from some serious injuries. . . .
