Videos: Last Weekend’s “Clear the Shelters” Event a Big Success


Last weekend, almost 700 animal shelters around the country took part in Clear the Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption initiative that aims to connect animals in need with loving new families. An article on The Dodo tells the story of the Fort Worth Animal Shelter, which was determined to empty its kennels, including the inspirational story of Ms. Jane the Pit Bull. Almost 20,000 animals were adopted on July 23rd, representing a huge success for the shelters and loving homes for the animals.
