Here’s a moving story about a South Carolina woman who adopted an eight-week-old Black Lab/Hound-mix puppy, only to discover that he has some very serious psychological problems, as a result of abuse. Leah Wyman has not given up on Marvin, however, and is getting help from an innovative program at the University of Georgia. Most dogs with Marvin’s problems end up being euthanized, but Wyman is taking a different course: treatment and acceptance of his differences.
