Video: New Hampshire Man Reunited with His Dog After Ten Years

Here’s an incredible story from my home state. A Nashua, New Hampshire, man named Jamie Carpentier was reunited with his long, lost dog after ten years—all because he just happened to visit the website of a local rescue operation. Carpentier had never visited the site before, but he had recently lost his Boxer and was just checking to see what dogs were available for adoption. One dog really caught his eye: a 13-year-old basset hound named Ginger who sure looked like the beloved dog that he’d lost in a divorce a decade earlier.

After exchanging photos via email with the shelter employees, Carpentier was sure it was the same dog. (It turns out that his ex-wife had put her up for adoption way back in 2003.) So, miraculously, the two are back together again, and Carpentier looks forward to spending Ginger’s golden years with her.
