Here’s a great story about a North Carolina man who finally found his best friend, after Max the dog ran off two years ago. Max was extra special to Chase Surles because the dog had been vital to Surles’s recovery from brain surgery.
“I think he was instrumental in his healing, honestly,” said Surles’ mother Donna. “I called him Chase’s therapy dog.”
Even after such a long time, Surles hadn’t given up his search, and when his girlfriend saw a dog on Facebook who looked like Max, Surles contacted the veterinarian who had posted the photo.
