Here’s an incredibly touching story about a marine serving in Afghanistan who met a puppy and fell in love with him. Sgt. Jacob Fisher bonded with the little dog they named Jax, and he immediately started to think of how he could bring the dog home with him. Fisher worked with SPCA International’s Operation Baghdad Pups: Worldwide, a group that has reunited more than 500 animals with service members who cared for them during their deployments.
