Danielle Davenport, an 11-year-old girl from Wentzville, Missouri, had never had a seizure before, so when it happened in the middle of the night, there was no one there to help. But the family dog, a Yellow Lab named Bailey, knew that she had to get assistance. With no alert-dog training, Bailey made sure that Danielle got the help she needed, which is why her family is calling her a hero who is “awesome.”
