Video: National Mill Dog Rescue Saves Its 10,000th Pup!

The National Mill Dog Rescue has been dedicated to rescuing dogs from unethical breeding operations since 2007, and last week, they announced that the organization had rescued its 10,000 pup. Founder and Executive Director Theresa Strader described the event as extremely emotional:

“Man, I mean I opened that truck and I had that 10,000th dog in my arms and oh my gosh I mean I really couldn’t do anything but cry. It was so weird,” Strader said. “It’s just so emotional. I’m just so proud of so many people.”

Congratulations to this important group of volunteers, to whom so many dogs owe their freedom. Visit the National Mill Dog Rescue website to learn more.
