Here’s an amazing story of a program that allows one dog to provide healing and hope for two returning soldiers. The Warrior Canine Connection uses veterans to train dogs that will help other veterans, and ingenious concept that maximizes the benefits of each dog. In the video above, the concept is explained through the story of a beautiful, two-year-old Golden Retriever named gabe, who was trained by U.S. Army veteran Spencer Milo, who suffers from PTSD, to be a service dog for Justin Lansford, who lost a leg in Afghanistan.
