Here’s a great video that is an episode of “American Strays: the series,” produced by the World Animal Awareness Society, which seeks to make un-wanted Dogs in America a thing of the past. (Watch the video below for more information.)
This episode profiles Jennifer Clarkson, who is working to make life better for the dogs of Detroit through her organization Dog Aide, whose mission is “to educate dog owners, identify needs of communities, supply owners with food and daily care items, provide access and financial help for routine veterinary care, and network with rescues and community organizations to help people get the food and financial assistance they need.”
